Amazing safari video

Have you seen Marie Antoinette? Kirsten Dunst plays the famous French Queen; the film ends when the revolution starts. Dunst is great as usual, still way too skinny though. All in all I found the movie somewhat tiresome. The whole weekend is filled with boring stuff on TV, I hope the two episodes of Rome that will be aired tonight make up for that.
Anyways, the weather is great and so I jumped at the chance of enjoying some sun and walked all the way into the city. I went shopping, something I rarely do voluntarily. Got some sheets and stuff, then I tried to find me a shiny new 22” monitor, but the model I was after was nowhere to be found. I guess I will have to order online and hope it comes without any pixel defects, should I really decide to spend as much.
What else is new? Nothing! It’s the typical summer – nothing’s new, politicians try to pass crazy bills while the real dudes are on holidays and don’t watch as close. The media don’t have anything to report so they make stuff up. There are no interesting games or movies to discuss – okay, maybe the Simpsons movie, I don’t care about Transformers – but on days like this, Sundays, it all feels like the world has come to a screeching halt. Of course that’s far from being true, but that’s just what it feels like.
So I also waste my time with useless crap, reading books I filed under “when you got nothing else to do”, cleaning the flat – now that might be a good thing, actually, stuff like that. And I remember things I caught up some day, ridiculous things. Or did you know that CBDR stands for “constant bearing, decreasing range”? I never thought I remembered, then I hear it all over the place. Weird summer nights.
